Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and
support services to students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs), state and federal regulations, and the mission of the School. The
Special Education teacher collaborates with general education teachers, related service providers,
families, and school leaders to ensure students receive appropriate academic, behavioral, and
social-emotional support in an inclusive environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Provide direct, standards-based small group instruction to students throughout the school day to
support academic growth and individualized learning needs.
● Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with IDEA and Delaware Department of
Education regulations.
Maintain accurate and timely special education documentation, progress reports, and service
logs.
● Help students meet growth/proficiency goals
● Analyze student data to inform instruction and monitor student progress toward IEP goals.
